ANDREW DENMAN | Blue Tit Study II
38 x 25 cms / 15" x 9¾"
mixed media on watercolour board
This original wildlife painting depicts a beautiful pair of Cyanistes caeruleus or blue tits. Andrew Denman portrays their playful nature, hanging upside down on a branch you can almost hear them. View the artwork online or in our Stamford art gallery.
- Born in 1978, the Bay Area native was a born artist, wining local art contacts, selling drawings to schoolmates, and teaching before he went to school. Denman organised his first solo exhibition at age fifteen at a local library, and soon after began participating in exhibitions with Pacific Wildlife Galleries in Lafayette, CA, alongside leading figures Robert Bareman, Carl Brenders, and John Serey-Lester. Andrew has gone on to hold many successful solo exhibitions.
