Following on from our successful exhibitions in Jersey over the last few years, in particular our collaboration with Ogier, as well as the sculpture show, Out of Nature, we held in June earlier this year, we are proudly returning to Jersey this Autumn. Set within the Ogier offices, in St. Helier, an impressive selection of Post-Impressionist landscapes and contemporary paintings will be on display.

Claude Monet inspired a great many artists in his endeavour to capture the impression of the landscape and influential works on display by the great Post-Impressionist painters Gustave Loiseau, Francis Picabia and Pierre Eugene Montezin exemplify the Impressionist master’s influence on his contemporaries and on the generations of French artists that were to follow in his footsteps. Gladwell & Patterson have long championed the work of these artists, in particular Georges Robin and Alexandre Jacob, who were discovered in the Paris Salon in the years following the Second World War by Herbert Fuller and have since been nurtured and collected by three generations of the Fuller family that own this prestigious London gallery.

The exhibition will run from Tuesday 16th to Thursday 18th October, with a public viewing on Thursday 18 October, from 8am until 3pm.

Please enjoy our collection online or join us in St Helier, at the Ogier offices, 44 Esplanade, St Helier, Jersey, JE4 9WG, on Thursday 18th October for the public viewing. We look forward to welcoming you to the exhibition.
