Lalage Beaumont

Lalage Beaumont on Beauchamp Place

As residents of Beauchamp Place, we always enjoy what delights our quaint street has to offer. Known as Grove Street until 1885, Beauchamp Place has always been a hub and hive of activity offering a boutique shopping experience from independent retailers, restaurants and art galleries such as our own. We particularly like to celebrate those businesses who like our own are only available at this exclusive location in Knightsbridge and nowhere else in the world. One we have noticed is our neighbour across the street, Lalage Beaumont.

Situated at number 58, Lalage specialises in beautiful clothing for business and special occasions, and specifically mother of the bride. Ever popular not only with local residents but also across the U.K and internationally, Lalage’s presence on the street further adds to Beauchamp Place’s reputation as one of London’s finest specialist shopping streets.

Lalage is inspired by the smart, clean and modern lines of the early 60s and, of course, by the wonderful and iconic style leaders from that era: Jackie ‘O’, Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn. The pieces are realised in a delectable colour palette that is both fresh and vibrant and the design philosophy of “understated elegance” permeates through each of Lalage’s collections. Designed and made in England from the finest European fabrics, a timeless outfit from Lalage Beaumont is a true investment, for now and forever.

Lalage and her team, as well as many of our other neighbours, will be joining us for our Christmas late night opening on the 6th of December. If you would like to see more about Lalage’s designs, please visit or drop in to the shop at any time.
