In richly veined Bardiglio marble, Reclining Mother & Child II conveys stillness and intimacy. Shawzin’s sensuous lines and sculptural restraint create a quiet dialogue between mass and void, evoking maternal devotion in its most essential form.

In all of these masterfully created compositions there remains an impressive interplay of form between the figures. Recalling the seated and lying sculptural forms by Henry Moore, one can always find distinctive and impressive compositions in each sculpture.
