Born in France and raised across Africa, the Middle East and Europe, Pascale Marsh brings to her work a rich international perspective shaped by a lifetime of travel and cultural discovery. Having eventually settled in Wales with her husband, she continues to draw inspiration from the diverse landscapes, people and wildlife she has encountered throughout her life. A passionate traveller and keen observer of the natural world, Marsh has long held a particular fascination with animals and marine life. Her experiences range from safari expeditions across Africa to exploring underwater environments as an avid scuba diver. This deep connection with wildlife forms the cornerstone of her artistic practice, informing works that capture both the beauty and character of her subjects with remarkable sensitivity. Largely self-taught, Marsh explored a variety of artistic media before dedicating herself to painting over two decades ago. Working primarily in oils, she has developed a highly accomplished realist style distinguished by its careful attention to detail, atmosphere and light. While wildlife remains her principal focus, her oeuvre extends to landscapes, seascapes, portraits, floral subjects and still-life compositions.
