Born in Glasgow at the end of the 1980s, Andrew developed his own highly precise painting technique from an early age, refining his skills throughout his teenage years with a clear dedication to observation and technical mastery. This early discipline laid the foundation for what has become a distinctive and recognisable artistic style. His compelling studies of the Scottish landscape are now held in numerous private collections around the world, reflecting both the growing demand for his work and its enduring appeal to collectors. 

After achieving a BA in Fine Art, Andrew fully embraced the medium of oil painting, turning his attention to the landscapes closest to home. He began producing atmospheric scenes inspired by Scotland’s rugged terrain, particularly along the dramatic North-West Coast, where shifting weather, expansive skies, and reflective waters provide constant visual inspiration.
