The San Francisco Fall Show

Gladwell & Patterson are delighted to announce their second year participating in The San Francisco Fall Show. A showcase of an extraordinary range of fine and decorative arts from leading international art, antiques, and design dealers on the West Coast. For 2024, the shows theme is black and white; the timeless appeal and elegant contrast of two juxaposing colours. Our collection comprises of some of the finest British and European artists from the past one-hundred years. 

 One of the highlights of our exhibition this year focuses on Andy Warhol's 'Candybox' circa 1981, a graphite drawing demonstating his skilled draftsmanship and offering a glimpse into the intricate nature of Warhol's artistic process. He was well known for his keen observation of popular culture and consumerism, and the candy box allowed him to engage with notions of desire, indulgence, and the transient nature of pleasure.
