Gallery in the Garden
Set within the grounds of Molecey Mill, the gallery extends into the surrounding landscape as a curated garden display. Visitors are invited to explore a sequence of works placed throughout the grounds, where sculpture and setting are considered in relation to one another.
Jonathan Walker's watercolours introduce a cast of rural characters drawn from close observation of country life, while Edward Waites's equine bronzes present studies of form and movement. Along the sculpture trail, pieces by James Doran-Webb, constructed from reclaimed wood, are positioned among trees and open lawns, their forms responding to the natural contours of the site. The garden offers a measured progression through the work, allowing each piece to be encountered in context, against the textures and changing light of the Lincolnshire landscape.
