Art Palm Beach

The doors of Art Palm Beach swung open on Wednesday evening to 6,000 VIP’s and collectors. The 80 plus exhibitors were on hand to showcase a wide variety of contemporary art in an array of mediums.

Across the Convention centre paintings, photography, jewels, wood carving, glassware, lighting silver and plastic animals are just some of the art on display. Galleries from every continent showcased the best work they can find from every corner of the Globe.

The show has continued to attract huge crowds and for Marie-Claire and myself we have enjoyed meeting a wide variety of guests from both Florida and across the US and South America. Our paintings generated strong interest for Picasso and Dali as well as finding homes for works by our living artists. Who knew we would be such a pivotal gallery forming the link between the art of Nineteenth and early Twentieth centuries to the contemporary works seen at the fair!

A programme of lectures and events have also taken place giving the chance for visitors to garner detailed art appreciation on a wide range of subjects.

Our own knowledge of contemporary art was expanded by an amazing private dinner hosted by Elayne Mordes at her home. With her late husband, Dr. Marvin they established a modern art collection unsurpassed in the area. Whitespace contains work by all the significant artists of today and is open to the public.

This morning was art work of a different kind. We headed over to the famous Breakers hotel on Palm Beach to see the Concorso d’Eleganza on the lawn. A stunning collection of gleaming Ferrari’s took us back to our show in Monaco several years ago and the cars of the Grand Prix historique.

With attendance at around 25,000, Art Palm Beach was a perfect platform for our paintings and in forming strong connections with both private collectors and art brokers from all over America.

Our presence in Palm Beach allows us the opportunity to reconnect with our loyal clients who we love to see again and to introduce our fabulous collection of paintings to new buyers.
